Who is Will Jacobs?

You’ve likely heard this question shouted across the dance floor by an attractive stranger at a swinging Hollywood party; or, barring that, whispered coquettishly by a Versace-clad businessperson during a high stakes poker match at, yet another, swinging Hollywood party.

Unable to provide the correct answer then and duly shamed for your ignorance, you’ve done the right thing and brought yourself to this website for the answer. A tip of the hat to you, my friend, for your resourcefulness and resolve.

To wit: Will Jacobs is a comedian and filmmaker based in New York f*cking City. He’s appeared on HBO’s The Other Two, and performs improv and characters regularly at The Upright Citizens Brigade and Magnet theaters. His webseries Olympus: A Retrospective is the best thing he’s done, and merited several awards at film festivals nationwide, including the Best of Late Night at SeriesFest ‘22 in Denver CO. It’s available to watch right this very moment on youtube.

Will has toured with the internationally renowned Baby Wants Candy as well as with the award-winning education and comedy company, The Story Pirates. He’s written for The Story Pirates Podcast, SPTV (the Story Pirates’ public access television show), and Wondery’s The Cat in the Hat Cast.

Will is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis where he studied Economics, Drama, and Math and was awarded the Mary Ewing Prize in Acting and the Leota Diesel Ashton Prize in Playwriting by the WashU Performing Arts Department. His play Telegraph won the A.E. Hotchner Playwriting Award and was produced by the PAD in May of 2015.

He’s a big fan of NBA Basketball, Magic: The Gathering, and terrible gen-z meme rap.

Now, friend, be off with you, and begin your new life as one edified in all things WILL JACOBS.
